La Biosthetique appoints new national education manager

[Thu 11/12/2008 11:10:35]

La Biosthetique has appointed Mrs Paula Chavez as its new National Education Manager. Mrs Chavez started with the company in August, 2008, as a Business Development Manager, rapidly progressing within the company due to her experience and knowledge in the health and beauty industry. La Biosthetique’s former Director of Education, Elizabeth R Arthur, is now the company’s Creative Director, allowing her more time to focus on her new salon, ‘Artson’.

Mrs Chavez said she was excited about the new role and challenges ahead: “My main goal over the next few months is to continue to enhance the level of education about La Biosthetique’s total beauty concept – giving equal attention to the brand’s products across hair colour, hair care, skincare, makeup and body care.

“On a big picture level, I aim to transfer all of my knowledge and skills over to the new role, so that La Biosthetique can continue to be at the forefront of education in the industry.”

With more than 16 years experience in the beauty industry, Mrs Chavez previously worked in national sales, new business development and training roles at major beauty companies.

La Biosthetique’s Group General Manager Darryl Sacks said he was delighted with Mrs Chavez’s recent appointment: “We are very excited to have Paula onboard. She brings a lot of new skills, knowledge and creativity to the table from her long-spanning career in the industry. Paula will continue to work closely with Elizabeth in her new role to strengthen education and knowledge about La Biosthetique in salons.”
