Youngblood Warm Up For Winter

Makeup artist Philip Luque creates Hollywood glamour for Youngblood’s Warm Up For Winter collection.

YB-FALL-2013

We spoke to Philip about the model campaign and what inspired Youngblood to create the collection: “Youngblood have drawn inspiration for this stunning colour collection on the current makeup trends for 2013 seen on the runways – it’s all about colour,” he said. “Various shades of greens, blues and chocolates are being swept across the eyes to create a smoky look. The lips are vibrant in deep shades of crimson, reds and pinks.”

“Hollywood, evening glamour” was what Philip called the look he created on the sultry blonde model, achieved using the new Warm Up For Winter products.

“Youngblood’s new pressed eyeshadow quad is called Glamour Eyes: four gorgeous pressed eyeshadows in smoky blues and chocolate tones. Temptress pressed blush is a cranberry colour with gold flicks mixed through; this creates the perfect winter warmer glow, and Siren Lip Gloss is a deep burgundy shade that can be worn alone or layered over lipstick for more intensity.”

Salons stocking the new collection will be able to talk clients through, step-by-step how to achieve the gorgeous look at home.
