Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics have welcomed veteran MUA, Andrea Damyon to the team.
Makeup artist Andrea Damyon’s CV reads like most aspiring beauty professionals’ wish lists.
With a celebrity clientele to boot, the veteran makeup professional has worked alongside the likes of Baz Luhrmann and had her work featured in titles including Cosmopolitan and Madison, as well as a hefty swag of TV spots, commercials and red carpet events.
And now Damyon’s latest endeavour sees the industry stalwart working under the Youngblood masthead as the brand’s newest addition, in the role of head makeup artist and educator.
As part of her new role, Damyon will will share her experience and education as a trainer, while designing signature looks for the brand’s photo shoots and videos. The MUA will also share her expertise through Youngblood’s blog and social media.
“I’m extremely excited and honoured to be a part of the Professional Beauty Solutions team,” says Damyon.
“It’s a role where I can finally combine my passion and love of makeup and skincare within a sales, support and educational role.”
Damyon will make her live debut with Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics Australia at next month’s Salon Melbourne/Hair Melbourne expo, where she’ll teach attendees the art of contouring and highlighting and perform four-minute makeovers using the brand’s makeup range.
