Comedian actress Amy Schumer thanks her makeup artist for her smoky eyes in her 2015 Emmy Award acceptance speech.
When celebs are interviewed on the red carpet, they often get asked what designer they are wearing, what jewellery they have on and what heels they’re wearing. But rarely do we get to hear about the makeup, which is why it’s refreshing to hear an actress thank her makeup artist in her acceptance speech.
Actress Amy Schumer, who won Best Variety Sketch Show at the 2015 Emmys for her show Comedy Central, gave a shout-out to her makeup artist as she accepted her award. In an honest and funny speech, which has no doubt won the actress a legion of new followers, the actress, amongst thanking her co-stars, her writers and her family, also thanks her makeup artist.
“Thank you to the girl who gave me this smoky eye, I really love it,” says Amy.
