Harlotte partners with The Bachelor

Harlotte Cosmetics will be helping the 22 contestants in this year’s series of The Bachelor look their absolute best in their attempt to win the heart of 29-year-old Matty Johnson.

The relatively unknown Australian makeup brand is the official makeup supplier for the reality TV series which premieres on Network Ten tonight.

Harlotte Cosmetics director Michelle Croft says she is “beyond excited” about the partnership.

“We are so thrilled for this partnership – finally a big Australian show like this partnering with an Australian cosmetics company instead of a US brand.

“To see these beautiful Australian girls wearing our products is a real break-through for us.

“We are hoping that this will spread brand awareness.  It’s honestly just really nice being acknowledged for all the hard work and passion we have put into our brand.”

Michelle launched Harlotte in Sydney 10 years ago after working as a makeup artist “for years”.

“I decided to create a makeup collection around the concept of smokey eyes and nude lips, as this was by far the most requested look that my clients were after,” she says.

“I worked closely with an Australian lab to develop a unique one-of-a-kind range and after two years in the making, Harlotte Cosmetics was born.”

Today the brand is sold in 500 stockists around Australia as well as in the USA, New Zealand, Ireland, Bahrain and Fiji.

‘”Harlotte’s philosophy is to formulate cosmetics to enhance one’s natural beauty,” says Michelle.

“The Harlotte girl is the epitome of the all-Australian girl next door – she’s fun, adventurous, confident and a little cheeky.

“All products are of the highest professional standard and the majority are uniquely formulated in Australia.  In addition all the products are animal friendly/cruelty free, long-lasting and enriched in vitamins and minerals.”

The Bachelor is the brand’s first major sponsorship but it has been growing in popularity in the TV and fashion industries for a number of years.

“We have never officially partnered with The Bachelor before but the makeup artists on set have used our products on previous seasons and loved them – this is how this season’s sponsorship all came about,” explains Michelle.

“Harlotte is a favourite amongst makeup artists, news readers and many TV personalities throughout the country’as well as The Veronicas.

“In addition the Harlotte team has worked backstage on shows such as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Australian Bridal Fashion Week, Fashfest, Sydney Fashion Weekend – and has been the official makeup sponsor of Fiji Fashion Week for the last two years.”
