Skin Fitness proprietors dine with Bryan Brown

Linda and Daniel Wale, proprietors of the prestige Skin Fitness salon chain, recently participated in the ‘Celebrate the West’ event, supporting the San Miguel Family Life Centre at North Richmond, which led to them winning dinner with actor couple Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown.

The charity provides homeless families with short-term refuge accommodation until they get on their feet again.

Celebrity patrons for the San Miguel charity, Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown decided at the ‘Celebrate the West’ event to auction themselves off as hosts for a dinner party at The Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay in Sydney’s Glebe.

Linda’s bid won the auction and she, Daniel and six of their friends, including Rita and Clive Smith from Payot Paris, attended dinner as guests of Rachel and Bryan on Thursday, April 23.

With the Skin Fitness chain being a Payot Paris stockist, Linda presented each woman with a package of Payot AOX products, while the men received a Payot Optimale gift.

The Wales are known for their support of their local Western Sydney and Lower Blue Mountains community. Daniel Wale said it is important to give back to the community. “The West has been very good to us and we want to give back. The Western Suburbs and Blue Mountains areas are often underestimated as valuable clients for prestige skincare salons,” he said. “We have developed and nurtured an exceptional group of clients and our business keeps growing. Our aim is never to undervalue them or ‘under-deliver’ to them with our standard of service and expert knowledge.”

Mr Wale added: “It was our pleasure to bid on the dinner for eight with Bryan and Rachel and we were thrilled when we won! Both Bryan and Rachel are very generous with their time for family-related causes.

“We talked about the importance of family and friends and about [being able] to give back to your local community in a practical way like the work that is being done by the San Miguel charity, particularly when some families are doing it so tough. And – it was fun watching Bryan come to terms with the concept of men’s skincare!”

The Wales continue to grown their salon chain and have recently added a fifth salon to their stable, located at Kurrajong in Sydney’s north-west.

The Skin Fitness salon chain now comprises Richmond Skin Fitness salon, North Richmond Skin Fitness, Richmond Club, Bligh Park Skin Fitness and Kurrajong Skin Fitness.
