Developed by professional makeup artist Sue McLaurin, Bridal Beauty Pro has been designed to make organising wedding bookings easy for hair and makeup artists.
The app lets you create a file for each of your brides where you can store all their wedding day details (think inspiration pictures, trial records, contact details and photos) in one place.
“As organised as I am – at one point even looking after over 150 brides a year – I was becoming increasingly frustrated about the best way to organise all my information for each individual bride’s big day,” says McLaurin.
“A good artist will take many notes on products used, along with a series of photos so they are able to recreate the look on the wedding day, which is sometimes months away.
“I kept thinking there had to be a simple solution that would keep everything easily accessible, online, backed up and in one place. Thus, in 2015 the idea for Bridal Beauty Pro was born.”
Although it has only recently launched, the app has already had an impact on some therapists’ businesses, including Lauren Veling’s Queensland-based makeup and hairstyling business Velbella.
