Sephora’s biggest ever Australian store opens with beauty addicts camping outside to be the first through the beauty emporium doors. See what went on!
Over the weekend (Saturday 15 October) the eagerly awaited opening of Sephora Chadstone was finally unveiled to the mass excitement of beauty buffs from across Melbourne. Sephora devotees were literally camping overnight outside the store in order to be the first through the beauty emporium’s doors. Now that’s dedication!
Just proving the pulling power of beauty (and free makeup!), by 7am Saturday morning, there were more than 700 eager beauty addicts lined up to get inside.
Sephora’s pre-opening party started from 9am, which kick-started all the big beauty action including giveaways of Sephora’s Biggest Blockbuster makeup palette (free for the lucky first 1000 customers through the doors), and beauty gift bags (also free to that first one thousand).
The party also had a Big Beauty Beats silent disco, a battle of the DJs, and tonnes of other beauty giveaways, makeovers and gifts to keep the crowds happy – no wonder the lineup was so impressive!
The new Chadstone store officially opened at midday and stayed open for the eager fans until 9pm.
