Caronlab has announced it has joined forces with the beauty industry’s leading membership organisation, CIDESCO Australia.

As the world’s largest international beauty therapy association, CIDESCO is represented by leading schools and colleges in over 33 countries, across the globe. The partnership between Caronlab and CIDESCO aims to enhance the professional development and exchange of information, particularly for students, and to offer the best possible start in a career in beauty.

CIDESCO Australia membership is open to qualified beauty and spa therapists, nail technicians, massage therapists, schools, colleges, beauty salons and students looking to achieve a superior level of training with CIDESCO’s world-recognised Diploma qualification.

“Our aim is to establish and uphold the highest standards of beauty and spa therapy with the CIDESCO accredited training schools” says Dianne Miles, CIDESCO Australia Chairperson. “Along with the many advantages of holding a prestigious CIDESCO membership, members can now also benefit from exclusive Caronlab offerings.”

The Caronlab business has grown to be a highly successful, globally-recognised waxing brand – and it’s particularly known for its educational offering.

“We believe that with the popularity of our brand and the commitment that we have to excellence in training and product reliability, that CIDESCO and Caronlab are perfectly matched to support beauty professionals across Australia” says Greg Ure, Caronlab CEO.

The Lilliane Caron waxing technique is a widely practiced technique in the industry. Designed to install confidence in beauty therapists, the technique pays particular focus on intimate waxing.

“These days, intimate waxing now makes up 60 per cent of all waxing so it is extremely important students learn a technique that will have them feeling confident before entering the work force,”  says Ure.

Caronlab has recently invested in a state-of-the-art video conferencing system to enable the team to broadcast live and interactive training to students and salons via webcam; it’s tech that has allowed Caronlab to offer affordable training worldwide without needing to debunk from the brand’s head office in Geelong, Victoria.

“We can conduct training on site or through an online demonstration,” says Ure. “We place a very high priority on supporting and servicing schools with exclusive offerings and training. We pride ourselves on building long standing relationships with salons, schools and educators and are sure that this new partnership will be very successful.”
