Here’s what to expect at Beauty Expo Melbourne

Sorry about the wait, beauty addicts, but Christmas is finally here. Beauty Expo Melbourne is back for 2017, and with over 55 exhibitors, a host of education seminars and a slew of industry experts in attendance, this year’s offering is more than generous.

Set to open its doors in March, Victoria’s premier trade-only event for beauty professionals will offer an inspiring overview of products and trends while connecting suppliers with experts for impactful product launches, sales and networking opportunities.

“Beauty Expo Melbourne will be the go-to event for Victorian beauticians to experience the very best of the industry; from upcoming trends to new products, and enriching, independent education,” says Julia Erben, Event Director of Beauty Expo Melbourne.

“We envision Beauty Expo Melbourne to be the inspirational and educational hub of the Victorian beauty industry. It’s a must-attend event that every beauty professional should mark on their calendar!”

Formerly known as Salon Melbourne, Beauty Expo Melbourne will be showcasing brands such as PAYOT Australia, Pevonia, Jean d’Arcel and Dermalogica, while also hosting a variety of creative workshops and seminars in their newly created education ‘The HUB’.

Melissa Sassine (one of Australia’s leading bridal makeup artists), Michael Brown (Makeup Cheats), Maria Vlazko (SoNailicious.com) will all host a series of masterclasses, while Jazz Pampling, Faye Murray, Amanda McGregor , Chiza Westcarr and Sarah Watson will take charge of brow seminars and skincare workshops.

Makeup artist Rae Morris will present a seminar titled Inside the World of Fashion Makeup; followed by an exclusive workshop limited to just 10 ticket holders, which will allow unprecedented access to one of Australia’s most respected makeup artists. The Intimate Date with Rae workshop will enable makeup artists to query Rae about her favourite products and advice.

Julie Piantadosi, on the other hand, is one of Australia’s leading customer service trainers, presenters and business advisors, will present two sets of seminars and workshops at Beauty Expo Melbourne: Profit or Perish, dedicated to giving salon and spa owners and managers the tools to take their business to the next level; and The Wow Factor, aimed at improving salon teams’ customer service skills to achieve better business.
