Napoleon’s daughter conquers MBFW

Lianna Perdis, the 17-year-old daughter of Napoleon Perdis, conquered the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at the Christopher Esber show in Sydney on Tuesday night.

It was the second time that Lianna has got to walk for the Australian designer – she made her catwalk debut for him earlier this year in New York.

“Aside from being a great opportunity for the brand [Napoleon Perdis], it is a real privilege for me to be asked to walk for Christopher Esber,” she said.

“I’ve walked for him in New York and love that I can come back and support him in our mutual home town.”

Lianne said she particularly loved “the  fresh, edgy outfit” that she closed last night’s show with as well as the makeup she wore which was “more like art”.

“The collaboration with Christopher and Napoleon really pushed the boundaries to enhance Christopher’s vision.”

The “80’s retro inspired” makeup look with “a modern, dynamic twist” worn by Lianna and the other models in the show was created using Napoleon Perdis Personal Trainer Serum Foundation, Total Bae Hide It! Concealer, Wan-er Brow Clear to Go and Auto Pilot Lip Service – and the “splash of colour on models’ eyes was created with Napoleon Perdis Lilac (China Doll Eyeliner in Yang and Loose Eye Dust Violet Femme), White (China Doll Eyeliner in Yang) and Yellow (China Doll Eyeliner in Yang and Loose Eye Dust Contrary Canary).

Apart from the Christopher Eskber show, Napoleon Perdis, the official makeup partner for this year’s MBFWA, is creating looks for all the IMG shows this week. The company also has “activations” on site and at the live site at Pitt Street Mall and is hosting  “makeup engineering workshops” for the public.

“I still call Australia home, so being a part of the biggest event in the fashion calendar is essential to the brand and my gospel of #makeupisart,” said Naopoleon.

He said “fresh, luminous skin” and “beautiful, bronze smokey eyes as seen on models at the Next Gen show” is the brand’s key focus at MBFW.

“It’s all about hydration for the skin.”
