Encore set to launch 3 new skincare brands

Encore Beauty is planning to launch three new skincare ranges onto the Australian skincare market this year.

Founded in 2005 by Maureen Bartlett and Shannon Earls to distribute SLA Paris makeup, the Sydney-based company currently distributes Indemne, Kadalys and Massada skincare.

The company plans to launch Omum (a French organic cosmetics brand aimed at pregnant women and new mothers),  Vita Liberata (a professional tanning collection offering “advanced organic, skin finishing and complexion enhancing treatments”) and Living Sea Therapy (face and bodycare products based on sea salt minerals and seaweed extracts) in October and then another “exclusive brand” next year.

Speaking at the launch of the company’s skincare division, Bartlett said the company’s current salon clients are “very excited” about the upcoming arrival of the new brands.

“Our salons will be able to purchase all of their beauty products (makeup, skincare, body care and tanning) through just one outlet,” she said.

Bartlett said the company had decided to extend its skincare offering and set up a separate skincare division as “the application of quality skincare products is a must when prepping the skin for a premium, natural, professional makeup range such as SLA Paris”.

“Over the years we have been offered many wonderful product ranges, which were effective but they were also full of undesirable ingredients,” she said.

“With the market in Europe and the UK manufacturing more natural and organic products, we have carefully selected product ranges that fit our strict criteria.

“They must be high quality, natural or organic, well priced, cruelty- free, paraben-free, easy-to-use and effective.”
