Last month, celebrated partners of cosmeceutical brand, iS Clinical gathered for an intimate three-night escape to The Daintree Forest in QLD for a unique learning and networking experience: the iS Clinical Platinum Retreat.
The invitation-only event was hosted by iS Clinical’s ANZ distributors, High Tech Medical. The 21-piece guestlist featured the brand’s local Platinum Circle members, inclusive of ten clinics. Also in attendance was the High Tech Medical team, iS Clinical’s internationally-renowned Clinical Director, Dr Charlene DeHaven, and aesthetic and anti-ageing expert, Dr Tahl Humes.
The Platinum Retreat was held at the luxurious Silky Oaks Lodge, set amongst the natural elements of the Forest and riddled with links to Australia’s rich Aboriginal culture. The location was selected to reflect iS Clinical’s considered ingredient portfolio, of which includes native Australian ingredient, Kakadu Plum.
Across the three-day Platinum Retreat, guests enjoyed a carefully curated itinerary which included immersive activities in the stunning surrounds of the Daintree National Park including an Aboriginal guided walk tour around Mosman Gorge learning about medicinal plants, animals, ochres and body painting as well as an Aboriginal Art Workshop and Smoking Ceremony. There were also daily yoga sessions, spa treatments, as well as lavish dining experiences.
Dr DeHaven and Dr Humes delivered insightful presentations on a range of topics, ranging from:
- Extremozymes
- Telomere Shortening
- Pigmentation Pathways and Treatment Approaches
- Cutting Edge Facial Rejuvenation Techniques with Combination Therapy.
iS Clinical also hosted an Awards Night to recognise the achievements of, and give thanks to, clinic teams. Guests received a trophy, certificate and gifts from Australian brands including a Viktoria and Woods scarf for clinic owners and managers, and Frank Green Coffee cups for clinic staff. Dr DeHaven and Dr Humes were also presented with an original Aboriginal work of art.
“The concept behind the iS Clinical retreat is to thank our clients and show our appreciation and acknowledgement of their commitment to the iS Clinical brand, as well as to High Tech Medical,” said High Tech Medical’s General Manager and Financial Controller, Debby Smith. “More than this, however, the retreat has provided a place where our clients come together to share ideas and experiences with the brand so they can elevate and inspire one another. To have facilitated such a collaborative culture is truly immeasurable.”
LUSH Skin & Laser Clinic Owner and Platinum Circle member, Cat Armstrong said, “Attending the iS Clinical Platinum Circle Retreat was an incredible experience. Achieving Platinum Circle status is a testament to our dedication and trust in the iS Clinical brand, and this trip was a rewarding celebration of our efforts. It was wonderful to connect with other clinic owners, share insights, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. High Tech Medical’s support has been instrumental in our growth with iS Clinical, and this retreat was a perfect blend of relaxation and professional enrichment. We’re so thankful for their support and excited for what the future holds for us working together.”
