Australian medi-aesthetic technology distributor, The Global Beauty Group, has announced new distribution agreements, bringing its award-winning LUX Series to treatment rooms worldwide.
The partnerships include exclusive distribution by IDSMED Group across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, as well as Healthxchange in the United Kingdom and Ireland. These additions join existing distributors Dopro Healthcare in South Africa and Lasera Co in Vietnam, extending the company’s global footprint.
The LUX Series, developed by The Global Beauty Group’s Melbourne team, is recognised for its Australian-engineered technology and versatile multifunctional features. Earning industry awards like the Dermascope Aestheticians Choice Award for ‘Favourite Multifunctional Device’ and The Aesthetic Award for ‘Non-Surgical Innovation of the Year,’ the range is built to meet the practical demands of busy therapists.
“The global market has embraced our cutting-edge Australian technology with enthusiasm,” says Export Sales Manager Masiha Zekrgoo. “Our product development team, which includes biomedical engineers, user experience designers, and dermal educators, collaborates closely with over 5,000 clients. Their feedback helps us continually refine the LUX Series to be user-friendly and adaptable while delivering exceptional treatment outcomes.”
A shared commitment to client service, education, and support solidifies the new partnerships. “Both distributors are established names in medi-aesthetics technology and align with our values. Their strong regional reputations make them ideal partners to help us bring the LUX Series to new markets,” explains Zekrgoo.
International partners receive hands-on training from The Global Beauty Group’s Head of Education, Elise Andrews and Zekrgoo himself, as well as access to the ‘Education HUB’, which was recently recognised as ‘Educator of the Year’ at the 2024 Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA). “We work closely with our partners to customise training for each market’s unique needs, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver top-level service and client care,” Zekrgoo adds.
The LUX Series has received positive feedback internationally, with certain devices standing out for their versatile treatment options – the MediLUX LED light therapy machine, praised for its five wavelengths options, and the UltraLUX PRO, which offers therapists twelve treatments, including IPL hair removal, pigmentation correction, and tattoo removal, all within one system. “The move towards multifunctional technology reflects a trend we’ve noticed locally and internationally – clinics want technology that works as hard as they do,” says Zekrgoo.
The HydroLUX microdermabrasion machine has also gained international popularity, providing therapists with versatile hydrodermabrasion and microdermabrasion options, complete with various treatment tips and adjustable settings for tailored results.
“The ability to deliver tailored treatments with impressive results has made HydroLUX a go-to device,” Zekrgoo shares.
As The Global Beauty Group continues expanding its international presence, its mission remains clear: ‘to make people feel wonderful.’ For Zekrgoo, the success of the LUX Series goes beyond technology—it’s about supporting businesses worldwide in their growth and helping them achieve outstanding results.
With further global expansion plans on the horizon, Zekrgoo hints at more exciting developments and encourages the industry to ‘stay tuned’.
