Lendan was among supporters of the charity, Make-A-Wish, who came together for its Silver Wish Ball, a night of great food, wine and entertainment to celebrate 25 years of granting magical wishes to Australian children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
Master of Ceremonies Phil Ceberano hosted the event, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at South Wharf on Saturday 26 June. The event included a sumptuous three-course dinner and performances by Kate Ceberano, The Leading Men, Peter Cupples and 100% Kylie.
Guests were touched by an inspirational speech from a Wish Family, celebrated the 6,000 plus wishes granted to date and helped grant wishes in the future by supporting the Live and Silent Auctions which included a Lendan Hair and Skin Care Hamper.
Lendan Director Daniel Tenaglia and his wife Marie (pictured) were overwhelmed with the magnitude of the event.
“The event was absolutely phenomenal, inspirational and touching, especially when you hear from a family that has gone through the unthinkable of seeing their child suffer from an illness. Nights like these reinforce the importance of supporting charities such as Make-A-Wish and why Lendan has chosen them as its preferred charity partner,” Daniel said. “We will definitely be back next year and urge people to join the fight to help children with life-threatening medical conditions!”
