NSI USA president Rick Slack and international educator Rise’ Carter will launch the “most advanced gel polish in the market” at the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo this weekend.
According to Rick, NSI POLISH Pro Light Cured is “the most advanced gel polish that is truly light cured using either UV or LED lights”.
He said the new polish is more than “just a blend of gel and polish” as it contains NSI’s newly developed Poly-Oligomer which enables the “thin viscosity formula to be applied as easily as polish while exhibiting some very non-polish characteristics”.
“The polish can be cured in a UV or LED light; its toughness, scratch resistance, flexibility and adhesion allows the manicure to wear and look like new for a full two weeks: and the product is easily removed in 10 minutes by soaking in Acetone and sliding off with an orangewood stick."
Apart from launching the new polish, Rick and Rise' will hold demo-days/seminars and training which will provide nail technicians with “a great opportunity to learn about NSI techniques, theory and business-building ideas aimed at maintaining their competitive edge in this changing industry”.
Rick, who helped develop the first odourless acrylic system, the first heat-cured polish sealant and the first fill-line eraser as well as “many other NSI firsts”, said the company’s mission was to advance nail technology and ensure the ongoing success of the nail technician.
