Following on from the success of OPI’s Black Shatter top coat, OPI will release six new top coat Shatter shades in white, red, blue, navy blue, turquoise and silver in May 2011.
The revolutionary new Shatter by OPI is a top coat formula that transforms as it dries on your nails. When applied, it begins to shatter and disappear, leaving behind a matte shattered effect within minutes of it being applied onto an OPI lacquer.
The drying ingredients contained in the Shatter by OPI range allows it not to set smoothly, leaving cracks in the surface that reveal the colour beneath. For the desired effect, ensure that the underneath lacquer is completely dry before applying Shatter top coat. And, for a high-gloss finish, seal in the shatter effect by applying another coat of OPI top coat.
Inspired by a graffiti artist, the new Shatter collection by OPI will make a real statement when it comes to nail applications and nail art techniques.
The range features the following shades:
- White Shatter; offers a new dimension to nail design. The cracked pattern effect is similar to a snow leopard in appearance.
- Red Shatter; delivers a more dramatic effect and appears like a tropical sunset.
- Blue Shatter; a bold royal blue shade that offers a nautical look.
- Navy Shatter; similar to Black Shatter, although with more of an edge.
- Turquoise Shatter; a gorgeous shade of shimmery turquoise, which creates an aquatic-like theme on the nails.
