The 10th Anniversary Nailympics were held on the 24th & 25th October 2011; Long Beach, California.
Jai Harvey-Yin of Absolute Spa, Melbourne, was pleased to be invited to the anniversary competition of the Nailympics as the Australian judge. She has a strong history with the Nailympics having competed as the first Aussie competitor at the very first Nailympics in 2001, and then again in 2002. She has since judged in both Vegas and London on several occasions, and says it was such an honour to be at the 10th!
Many countries were represented imcluding the USA, England, Korea, Russia, Belgium and Italy.
Top ranking technicians were featured, as well as returning stars such as Tom Holcomb, Allison Baker and Sang Mei Sao – the calibre of work was high, making judging a double edged sword, said Jai, "A delight to see the wonderful nails, but trickier as they were of high standard!"
