Australian chemical-free skincare brand, Sodashi, is celebrating ten years of worldwide acclaim with expansion in local market.
The company has expanded its presence in the Australian market through a series of partnerships with some of the country’s finest resorts and spas.
Since its inception in 1999 by founder and CEO, Megan Larsen, Sodashi has enjoyed considerable international success and recognition in the global spa industry. Its range of 120 face, body and lifestyle products are used by some 52 of the world’s most exclusive luxury spas and resorts in over 20 countries worldwide, with overseas spas accounting for the majority of the company’s business.
Now in its tenth year, Sodashi has increased business in the domestic market with the addition of four new partnerships with Australian spas including Spa Qualia on Hamilton Island (pictured), the Lost World Spa at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Resort in the Gold Coast hinterland, and Spa Dreamtime – St Kilda Baths and The Lyall Hotel and Spa in Melbourne.
Larsen said that, since its inception, Sodashi has always had a global viewpoint. “We source the highest quality ingredients from all over the world and our chemical-free treatments now enhance some of the globe’s leading spas. At heart, though, we are a distinctly born-and-bred Australian company, making all our products at our own state-of-the-art laboratory in Fremantle, Western Australia, to ensure their quality and purity. These high standards are now increasingly appreciated by the Australian spa industry and we are gratified to see a constant increase in our local business, bringing home Sodashi’s chemical-free message.”
According to the company the Sodashi brand has strong appeal for spas keen to stock a 100 per cent chemical free, luxury Australian-made spa range. Similarly, Sodashi is highly selective when partnering with spas, only supplying establishments that share a similar vision for natural and holistic products and treatments.
Jason Friedman, General Manager of five-star luxury resort Qualia commented: “Qualia is a unique expression of Australian luxury and therefore I was looking for a unique Australian product that could reflect exactly that. Sodashi is a beautiful product that offers a luxurious and results-driven spa ritual, and most importantly it is 100 per cent natural. I can see that Sodashi as a company makes environmentally correct choices in all that it does. And I felt that it was important that we align ourselves with an Australian product that was driven by an ethical philosophy.”
Rowina Thomas, Hotelier at the Lyall Hotel and Spa added: “Our clients expect the finest quality and most effective spa products that deliver an experience that is both authentic and luxurious. Sodashi, which is Australian-made and 100 per cent chemical free, can guarantee this.”
Meanwhile, Sodashi continues to enjoy international success with the addition of a number of spa partnerships including Vigilius Mountain Resort in Italy, No. 1 Pery Square in Ireland and two additional Four Seasons properties including the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles and Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terra Blanche in France.
