Ecoya has released a gardenia-fragranced soy wax candle exclusively for the McGrath Foundation.
Retailing at $24.95, the McGrath Foundation by Ecoya Everyday Tin candle has as a warm, sweet gardenia fragrance and is available from this month, in the lead up to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
The McGrath Foundation aims to raise money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses across rural and regional Australia, as well as increasing breast awareness in young women. Breast care nurses are specially trained registered nurses who act as patient advocates, coordinating care for women with breast cancer, their families and their carers. They provide accurate information, support and referral to services.
Executive Director of the McGrath Foundation, Tracy Bevan, believes that the pink Everyday Tin candle is not only beautiful but also helps make a difference, with Ecoya donating $2 from every candle sold to the McGrath Foundation.
“Jane always loved to have candles burning around her home so we were thrilled when Ecoya wanted to develop a candle to benefit the McGrath Foundation that mimicked the floral scents Jane used to love.
“The McGrath Foundation candle by Ecoya makes a perfect gift, particularly for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, and is a beautiful way to show both your support for the McGrath Foundation whilst also serving as a reminder for women to do regular breast checks each time they light the candle,” said Bevan.
Ecoya’s Managing Director, Craig Schweighoffer, said: “Ecoya is honoured to have developed the McGrath Foundation by Ecoya Everyday Tin candle. As well as supporting the tireless work of the McGrath Foundation, we hope it brings a greater awareness to women of all ages to be breast aware.”
