Fifteen years following its initial launch, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics holds an unrivalled position as one of Australia’s leading makeup brands, and is now making major incursions in the United States.
The company has 65 stores and kiosks, with over 4500 points of sale in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
The brand has also garnered celebrity fans including Leighton Meester, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shenae Grimes, Becki Newton, Melissa George and Sophie Monk to name a few.
Meanwhile, the multi-tasking Perdis has found time to expand his makeup Academy (with seven campuses including one on Hollywood Boulevard), sponsor major events like the Emmy’s and New York Fashion Week, and even film his own reality TV show ‘Get Your Face On’ for the TLC network in the US.
In 2008, the makeup guru launched a budget-conscious makeup collection, NP Set, for Target in the US and Australia.
Along the way, Perdis has spawned numerous cult products, including China Doll Foundation, DeVine Goddess Lipstick, Long Black Mascara and Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Primer.
According to the company, an Auto Pilot Primer is sold every five minutes.
Earlier this year Perdis directed the makeup for eight shows at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in Sydney, returning to New York Fashion Week in September.
In October, Perdis kicked-off a personal appearance tour at David Jones stores, with stops at Hay Street in Perth, Bourke Street in Melbourne, Rundle Mall in Adelaide and Kotara in NSW.
In another first, Perdis has unveiled a glittering new flagship store in Sydney’s CBD, 15 years after the first one launched.
To ring in the anniversary of his brand, Napoleon Perdis has also designed a chic new lip gloss palette with 15 bewitching lip shades—one for every year of Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics.
