Bobbi Brown Cosmetics reintroduces discontinued lip colours via exclusive Facebook campaign.
For years, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics devotees have been writing, tweeting, and posting to Bobbi to reintroduce lip colour shades that they love but are no longer part of the existing collection. They spoke and Bobbi listened. On February 1st, Bobbi Brown launched Bobbi Brings Back: Lip Color, kicking off the campaign with a personal video message. One of the first beauty campaigns of this kind, Bobbi Brown will give her fans the chance to bring back their favorite discontinued shade of Bobbi Brown Lip Colour via Facebook. The brand’s Facebook fans can log onto www.facebook.com/BobbiBrownAU to vote for their favorite discontinued shade from 10 of the most-requested shades globally.
“It’s important to me that I’m always listening to my fans,” says Bobbi on launching Bobbi Brings Back: Lip Colour. “This is an opportunity for me to show my Facebook followers that I appreciate all of their support over the years and thank them. We’re bringing back classic Bobbi Brown Lip Colours solely based on what the fans want.”
Bobbi Brings Back: Lip Colour will launch in all six Bobbi Brown Cosmetics e-commerce enabled markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Korea, Japan, Germany and Australia. As a result, the voting application is multi-language and optimized for mobile and tablet devices so Bobbi Brown fans can access the application on-the-go. The six lip colours with the most votes will become available for purchase for a limited time only exclusively for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Facebook fans via an fCommerce tab, which will be introduced in spring 2012. Voting closes on February 29th, 2012.
The Bobbi Brings Back campaign will continue to reintroduce discontinued products in the future. The brand launched with Lip Colours, as Bobbi launched her line with ten lipsticks 21 years ago, but plans to bring back other hero products including blush, eye shadows and more.
