Parsec, a Sydney based company owned by Jean and Janine Akkad, has taken on the distributorship of RefectoCil products in Australia and New Zealand.
Announcing the new distributorship, Janine said Parsec was fortunate to be given the opportunity to represent RefectoCil, “the Number 1 selling tint in Australia and more than 50 countries worldwide”, by GW Cosmetics.
“Lee Fran Beauty Imports has done a phenomenal job in promoting RefectoCil in the Australia and New Zealand markets for many many years,” she said.
“It is however now our intention to elevate the brand to another level through extensive education and promotional activities.
“Our marketing programs will be rolled out over the next 12 months, in line with GW Cosmetics’s corporate strategy which focuses on education (particularly brow and lash styling and tinting and Browista by Refectocil certification), social media presence and increased brand awareness.”
She said Parsec, which will now trade as RefectoCil Australia, was “working hard to ensure “a smooth transition so our customers can continue ordering through their distribution channels”.
Based in Austria, GW Cosmetics develops and produces a range of hair, face and body cosmetics but is best known internationally for its RefectoCil, BeautyLash and Master Lin brands as well as with its private label products
The company says RefectoCil gives beauty professionals worldwide “the opportunity to style their customer’s brows and lashes individually and completely: shape, colour and care” to make it a leading service in their salons and clinics.
