Eyelash and eyebrow tinting is the most popular way to accentuate facial features and emphasise the eyes.
Whilst many clients aren’t sensitive to oxidative tint ingredients, the treatment isn’t suitable for those with contra-indications.
RefectoCil Sensitive tint is a breakthrough formula based on plant extracts, making it the perfect vegan alternative for those with skin-related allergies.
Thanks to the power of plant ingredients including green tea, blueberry and hydrangea, brows and lashes are enhanced in a natural and gentle way with the Sensitive tint range.
The Sensitive Developer Gel is based on the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial ingredient, Silver Nitrate. An added benefit of this range (which is often not the case for an oxidative tint) is the skin staining power which can last up to five days.
This range can be used in conjunction with the RefectoCil oxidative range for clients with no skin sensitivity. Similar to brow henna, the combination of applying Sensitive and oxidative tint produces a more intense colour result as both the skin and brow hair is covered, taking brow styling to the next level.
Core benefits include:
- Tinting based on plant extracts
- Dermatologically and opthalmologically tested
- Total treatment time is only three minutes
- Silver nitrate based and available in three colour shades
- Smudge proof and waterproof
Although the Sensitive treatment procedure is slightly different to a standard tint application, the process is simple and easy.
In the RefectoCil oxidative tint range, almost every colour pigment enters the hair shaft, whereas the RefectoCil Sensitive colour pigment wraps around the outside of the hair, resulting in the skin stain effect. Another key difference is that the Sensitive colour and developer gels are not mixed, but are applied consecutively. The gel colours (which appear clear at first) must be used with the Sensitive Developer Gel only for the colour to activate.
For the very best results, there are some considerations when using the Sensitive range.
Lashes and brows must be completely oil free before tinting. Even if the client is not wearing make up, the eye area must be thoroughly cleansed with non-oily Micellar Eye Make-Up Remover.
The Sensitive treatment does not use water and it is important to allow the hair to be completely dry before the application of both products.
Sensitive is available in thee shades (medium brown, dark brown, black). A Sensitive tint remover is also part of the range to remove unwanted colour. A complete kit is available, including the reusable silicon eye pads.
The RefectoCil Sensitive range is a must have for therapists wanting a non-aggressive, non-irritating tint alternative used for lash styling and brow shaping on any client. Its powerful skin staining abilities sets this tint range apart from traditional alternatives.
