Melbourne’s Elite Hair and Makeup Academy has announced the commencement of its 2012 long hair styling course.

The course is designed for students who want to learn long hair styling techniques suitable for editorial work, special events, photo shoots, fashion runway, events and bridal styling. It is a 11 week course run by Elite Hair and Makeup Academy’s director Justine Poniris.
The long hair styling course has been created for professional makeup artists and hair stylists aspiring to a career in freelance styling. It is also suitable for current freelance professionals looking to further existing skills and knowledge.
The course is held in small class sizes where students will learn
• Hair down, half up and up do’s
• Classic styles
• Applying hair pieces
• Correct pinning techniques
• Hot rollers setting techniques
• The latest bridal styles
The course will run on Monday evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Students are invited to participate in a professional photo shoot in the last week of the course and can purchase photos to build on their portfolio.
