The Australasian College Broadway, one of Australia’s leading vocational education and training organisations has launched its new social media community by giving one Facebook user a life-changing $10,000 towards their education and career development.
The social media campaign has been launched to encourage increased online interaction with potential students from across Australia.
Maureen Houssein-Mustafa OAM, founder and co-chair of The Australasian College Broadway says, “Australians have embraced social media with gusto and the college wants to provide those interested in personal services with a new meeting place to share, learn and discuss the latest trends and opportunities.”
The $10,000 Facebook competition which went live from August 11th to 12th asked entrants to, in ten words or less, describe what beauty means to them. Jamie-Lee Rose from Glenmore Park NSW is the lucky recipient of the $10,000 skills prize. Jamie-Lee’s statement on what beauty means to her was, “Enhancing someone’s inner beauty and not encouraging a superficial surface.”
“I always wanted to work in the personal services industry and now, with this $10,000, I have the opportunity to study further and achieve my laser hair reduction qualification,” Jamie-Lee says.
