It seems that this year, every professional beauty brand has tapped into the Christmas spirit and released a gift pack. As awkward as it is to admit, beauty gift packs are notoriously… daggy. Cheap makeup cases and giant beach totes are what shoppers have become accustomed to, and while the products inside are the real steal, it’s the packaging that often undermines the offering.
In 2022, beauty businesses have appeared to have stepped up their game, with salon-stocked brands at the forefront of innovation. In place of tacky totes, some brands have released what appear to be designer-inspired clutches and cases. Even basic boxing has turned chic with the use of Summer brights and cool photography worthy of a place under the tree.
Fine-tuning our favourites has been a hard task to tackle – so much so that the team PB beauty cupboard has been stripped bare in our attempt to try-and-test them all.
