Last week, special guests were invited to the SkinCeuticals Skin Studio in Sydney to celebrate the official launch of A.G.E INTERRUPTER ADVANCED.
The studio, which was set up at Baker St Studios in Banksmeadow, was split into an immersive lab and a stunning dining space.
To commence, guests were invited to don a white lab coat and be seated at a series of lab tables. A presentation was hosted by Dr Tania Romano PHD, SkinCeuticals’ Head of Medical & Education, with industry guest speakers and the SkinCeuticals team.
Guests were educated on the unique attributes of the A.G.E INTERRUPTER ADVANCED – a corrective anti-ageing cream targeting signs of ageing caused by advanced glycation end products (A.G.E), including wrinkles, skin firmness and dullness. The cream is designed to encourage collagen production.
A.G.E INTERRUPTER ADVANCED heroes the following ingredients:
- 18% concentrated proxylane (12.6% active)
- 4.25% wild fruit flavonoid concentrate (0.09% active)
- 0.1% glycyrrhetinic acid
- 3% HEPES
- 1% niacinamide.
Dr Romano explained how it took SkinCeuticals over 50 iterations to achieve the best formula possible, including over 100 trials.
The product is the next-generation A.G.E formulation for the brand, who launched the original A.G.E INTERRUPTER in 2008. On experiencing the product first hand, Professional Beauty noted a lighter, silkier texture to the new formula with minimal scent. The cream can be used post-treatment, and is suitable for Fitzpatrick types I-VI.
Following the presentation, guests were treated to a sit-down brunch. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and cakes were served. Alternating mains were also served, including Huon Smoked Salmon, Spinach, Preserved Lemon and Coriander Cress on Sweet Potato Rosti, and Smashed Avocado, Charred Sweet Corn, Lemon and Pepitas on Sweet Potato Rosti.
Guests also took home a sample of the new A.G.E INTERRUPTER ADVANCED to trial at home.
