The 10th annual A5M conference is coming up on 6-7 August in Melbourne and it offers plenty of inspiration for beauty professionals.
Recent medical research has unearthed tonnes of exciting new information and insights surrounding aesthetic medicine. To keep both doctors and industry professionals up to speed, the AustralAsian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine (cleverly called A5M) has gathered leaders in aesthetic medicine to share world-wide findings at their 10th annual conference to be held in Melbourne next month.
“It is imperative that doctors and healthcare professionals keep up to date with the latest approaches to aesthetic medicine, to continue to provide world-class health care and help their patients,” says Ms Helen Anton, Director of A5M.
Internationally recognised cosmetic doctor Dr Simon Rosenbaum brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the stage with his on surgical and non-surgical approaches to peptides.
Attendees will also hear about the platelet rich plasma (PRP) for skin tissue regeneration from cosmetic surgeon Dr Mark Attalla, while Dr David Cowhig, founder of Dental Wellness in Brisbane, will discuss the importance of total oral wellness. Dr Joanne Samer will share research into integrative aesthetic approaches with her talk on essential oils and anti-ageing.
Amanda Bishay, a qualified and medically trained cosmetic tattoo, skin therapeutic, laser aesthetician and international trainer, will talk about cosmetic medicine and paramedical aesthetics to increase practice income.
For those interested in aesthetics, A5M is also holding a half day pre-conference workshop on Friday 5th August called Outer Beauty: A Reflection of Inner Health. Presented by Dr Rhona Creegan, a nutritional biochemist and nutritionist, the workshop will examine the theories of ageing, detoxification pathways, and the impact of metabolic and chronic diseases in skin health – it will also delve into how the latest research in nutritional supplements and cosmeceuticals can enhance your clinic.
