We take a peek inside Amy Jean Priveè, the latest luxury salon from celebrated brow and lash artist, Amy Jean Linnehan.
Located in Sydney, Amy Jean Priveè is the fifth salon in the Amy Jean Eye Couture stable and is head-to-toe luxe, designed to welcome Linnehan’s high-profile clients including Naomi Campbell, Dannii Minogue, Sophie Monk, Jessica Marais and Delta Goodrem.
Although she has opened pop-up salons in some of the most exclusive hotels in the world (think the Plaza Hotel in New York and Milan’s Bulgari Hotel), Linnehan says Amy Jean Priveè is her most opulent venue yet.
“My clients retreat here to benefit from my artistic expertise in an ultra-luxe environment, so it’s important for the space to be aesthetically inspiring, with unique artwork and sophisticated haute couture style detailing,” says Linnehan.
The salon looks out over Hyde Park and has a Manhattan-meets-Sydney vibe with white interiors, gold metallic accents and plush teal velvet armchairs. The luxury extends to the treatment rooms, where beds are draped in Hermes cashmere and chilled champagne is on offer.
Throughout the salon, a personal touch has been added to the space with Linnehan’s new range of limited edition hand poured candles, which are made in Melbourne.
“Attention to detail, innovation and artistry are what underpin my international reputation and this luxurious space is a unique reflection of that,” says Linnehan. “Clients leave with more than perfectly crafted brows – Amy Jean Priveè makes it a discrete, indulgent pampering experience to be treasured.”
With a six month waiting list, Linnehan is in huge demand, and her signature treatments include micro-stroke feather touch brow tattooing, Forever Lash eyeliner tattooing, and Kiss Me lip tint tattooing.
“Brow artistry and permanent makeup are the most powerful anti-ageing tools available,” she explains. “I’ve made it my life’s work to seek out the latest techniques from global innovators – it’s such a wonderful gift to be able to help every client to look and feel her most beautiful.”
As for what the brow queen thinks the current trends are? The bold power brow is out and the natural brow is in, she says.
“The best way to achieve beautiful brows while still keeping product application light is to enhance the natural shape with micro-stroke feather touch brow tattooing,” she explains.
“Then all you need is a subtle dust of powder over brows in the morning. It’s simple but incredibly effective.”
