Her 20 years’ experience as a cosmetic physician led Dr Anita Hegde to develop a moisturising cream that has made its way into the hands of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
The Skin Smoothing moisturising cream is a multi-tasker with potent active ingredients that aims to address the changing requirements of clients as they age. There’s retinol to boost collagen production and increase cell turnover, vitamins c and e, peptides to plump the skin as well as organic camellia oil and passionfruit oil.
“I have tested and retested for over a year before I settled on the formulation that I was happy with, ensuring that it was easy and uncomplicated,” says Dr Hegde.
Excitingly, the Australian made product was brought to the attention of some of the world’s biggest stars earlier this year after being featured in a goodie bag for Academy Award nominees staying at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel. This included including the likes of Kate Winslett, Jennifer Lawrence, Helena Bonham Carter and Tina Fey.
To use the cream, clients simply apply it at night a few times a week before building up to nightly use. Dr Hegde says skin will be more lustrous and feel softer in the first few weeks of use, while after three to four months of regular use clients can expect their lines to soften and minimise. Of course, you should always advise clients to use sunscreen during the day when using retinol.
