Thousands of beauty professionals “shopped, networked and experienced new trends and inspiration” at Beauty Expo Melbourne on the weekend.
Beauty Expo Melbourne’s new event director, Cory Watson, said visitors and exhibitors enjoyed a “fabulous weekend” at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
“I’m thrilled with the experience that’s been delivered to our guests and our exhibitors.
“There’s nothing like the buzz of a live event to make people feel motivated and excited about their profession, and all the possibilities for what they can achieve in the year ahead.
“And most of all we love being able to connect them with the amazing brands at our show that have so much to share with the industry.”
Apart from all the latest beauty products and services on display at the 108 exhibitor stands, highlights at the Expo included “a stellar line-up of experts” presenting educational sessions on the latest beauty trends with topics like RF micro-needling, men’s brows and micro-blading as well as business sessions covering topics such as solo salon business tips for success and work/life balance for small business owners.
In addition there was “plenty of live-action” on the Expo floor with two HUB stages (Anti-Ageing and Makeup & Grooming) providing free presentations and demonstrations, while The GenNEXT Makeup Competition provided a platform for up-and-coming makeup artists to showcase their skills.
Cory concluded that visitors left the Expo “feeling motivated about what’s ahead for their businesses and inspired about what they can achieve in their careers”.
Next year’s Beauty Expo Melbourne will be held on the March 23-24 weekend at the MCEC.
