The Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo, ‘the fastest growing event in the Australian hair and beauty industry’, is expecting a record crowd of 7500 industry professionals at this July’s event.
Expo managing director Jason Greenhalgh said he has been amazed by the support that the event has gained since its launch.
“The support we have received from the hair and beauty industries over the past three years has blown my mind,” he said.
“We have been so encouraged by the fact that they love what we are doing, and we thank them so much for their enthusiasm and passion.”
However, Jason is adamant that the Expo organisers are not resting on their laurels and will continue “to introduce new and exciting content” to the event every year.
“By 2020 we aim to attract 10,000 visitors to BHBE, and we will achieve this by continuing to push the Expo’s education and entertainment to new limits,” he said.
“We feel that we owe it to the industry, as we aim to showcase everything this amazing industry has to offer.”
With a floor plan spanning 7500 m2, this year’s Expo’s new features include:
- The introduction of the ‘Barber Pro Series’ barbering competition
- “Heaps of new exhibitors” across the hair and beauty industries
- An interactive visitor experience offering incredible prizes
- A new look Extended Education Program
Jason added that despite the growth of the Expo, there were still “great exhibitor sites available” for this year’s event.
The 2018 Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo will be held on Sunday July 29 and Monday July 30 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Tickets will go on sale in April.
