Curtis Collection proudly sponsored the Carla Zampatti Spring/Summer Collection parade, kicking off the Princess by Grant Torrens Boat Show in Sydney.
Held in Sydney at Rose Bay Marina, the luxurious event showcased over $100m worth of motor yachts, aviation and exotic cars.
“The event was incredibly lavish and exclusive, we [at Curtis Collection] are very privileged to have been in the esteemed company of world class brands such as Aston Martin, Bunda Diamonds and many more,” said Victoria Curtis, owner of Curtis Collection.
Chloe Maxwell, who was host for the night, was the first to be treated to a Curtis Collection signature glow paired with pop-bright red lips.
The Carla Zampatti 2013 Spring Summer collection spoke of structured shapes and geometric forms in a palette of monochrome, gold, bright yellow and leopard print. The clothing were minimalist but with maximum impact.
Victoria Curtis was present backstage instructing and advising on the planned look for the night – smokey eyes paired with a pink lip, the perfect complement to the wild and vibrant Carla Zampatti clothing.
“The colour palettes were carefully selected in order to complement the white, black, and gold hues featured in Carla Zampatti’s collection,” Victoria said, “the final look is definitely our prediction for Spring Summer makeup trends.”
The partnership between Carla Zampatti and Curtis Collection is one based on a mutual vision and style. Victoria, a personal admirer of the designer label, said this of the partnership: “Carla Zampatti has created an aspirational brand that represents a distinct signature style that we felt was very much in line with our cosmetics brand – classic, feminine and elegantly timeless”.
Already seeing results from this recent event, the Curtis Collection head office has been inundated with interested stockists and enquiries since the show.
“Partnering up with such an iconic brand like Carla Zampatti is a testament to our own brand aspirations! We have gained major recognition in the industry for our products that are now appearing on the runway with some of Australia’s most notable and respected designers,” Victoria explained.
Curtis Collection will continue their involvement in the fashion industry with more upcoming catwalk shows.
Victoria and her team will also be at the Sydney International Beauty & Spa Expo for the first time. The Curtis Collection stand will include all products (available for purchase) and a makeup bar for a first-hand Curtis Collection experience.
