On December 3 Ella Bache treated beauty media to a lunch at Chiswick Sydney discussing the importance of skin detox for the modern woman.
Over a succulent meal tailored to the ingredients of their new product range, Ella Bache invited beauty media to a feast of knowledge and skincare insight. Tables were adorned with fresh flowers, lavender and other herbs that freshened the atmosphere – a perfect fit for the new Detox Aromatique range.
Speaking on the brand’s new direction in 2013, Pippa Hallas welcomed guests with a glimpse into her vision for the rebranded ‘suddenly 30’ Ella Bache customer. Still recovering from the interest garnered from her controversial campaign, Pippa stressed that despite changing the age group of her target, the heart of the brand still remains – Ella Bache will always offer clients ‘skin solutions as individual as you are’.
The head of post graduate education in Australia Janene Barrett presented next. Janene introduced the new Detox Aromatique range, treatment, key ingredients and how Ella Bache has tailored this to the modern woman.
“Increasingly, we are finding that women are having issues such as comedones, hormonal adult acne, sensitivity and other things caused by the environment we live in today. As working modern women we are exposed to many factors that have changed our skin – things such as air pollution, increased stress, UV radiation and poor nutrition have disrupted the equilibrium in our skin,” said Janene.
Ella Bache’s new Detox Aromatique range targets these modern skin concerns by detoxifying and purifying the skin. The range includes an Extra-Mattifying Cream, Extra-Purifying Corrector Serum and Extra-Purifying Concealer/Drying Corrector. These products accompany the in-salon Aromatic Detoxifying Facial Treatment – a cold facial using kabuki brushes.
Key ingredients in this line include grape seed extract, ‘puressence’ and purifying zinc. Grape seed extract is a natural antibiotic that maintains the skin’s prebiotic and probiotic levels. ‘Puressence’ is a combination of 16 aromatic extracts created by Ella Bache research & development. Purifying zinc comes from aquatic plants that work to fight bacteria and feed skin essential nutrients.
The Detox Aromatique range will be available in March.
