Bodyography Australia acquires Dissolve, a range of cleaning products created for salons.
Cleaning – a nightmarish and mundane activity that is present at every spa and salon. Owners are always on the hunt for a cleaning product that will combat hair spray, hair colour and other staining products.
Rob Tamburro, director of Bodyography saw this need and began searching for a product to cater to those needs. Finding his own niche within the vast market of cleaning products, he has acquired Dissolve – a brand with a point of difference.
“What’s unique about Dissolve is that it is specifically designed for salons,” Rob said, “this is a product put together in laboratories and with research into targeting daily salon cleaning and hygiene.”
Designed to break down product residue and even nail polish, Dissolve works on multiple surfaces.
“After speaking with many of our clients we understood that salons were spending large amounts of money on multiple products. They are buying separate cleaners for different surfaces and having to constantly switch in-between products when cleaning,” Rob said.
“Dissolve has two simple products: one for floors and one for equipment, mirrors and tools,” he added.
Bodyography acquired Dissolve last year after seeing its success in the US. “We studied the product and looked at the Australian market and saw that there was nothing like it here. As the Bodyography network now expands over 400 salons we know that this will be a good fit for our salons as something extra we can offer,” Rob explained.
