As beauty professionals around the country count down the days to the industry’s biggest event, Beauty Expo Australia, the event organiser has revealed eight innovations that will be on show.
Beauty Expo Australia event director Cory Watson says the innovations, rounded up below, are just a sample of new products that will be on display at the Expo which will feature more than 250 brands including MAC Cosmetics, Ultraceuticals, Mancine Cosmetics, Murad, Pelactiv, Inglot Cosmetics, France Medical, ModelRock Lashes, Crown Brush, Makeup Net, TechnoTan, Image Skincare, Pure Fiji, Luk Beautifood and Cherry Blooms.
1. Murad Outsmart Blemish Clarifying Treatment
The latest retail launch from skincare brand Murad is part of the Blemish Control Collection and combines five ingredients (salicylic, lysophosphatidic, hydroxydecanoic, sebacic and glycolic acids) to reduce overall blemishes in just one week (clinically proven). Stand F141.
2. Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics Illuminator
This luxe new offering from Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics gives the skin a dewy glow. Key ingredients in the Illuminator include black diamond dust to manipulate light, shea butter to promote collagen production, marula oil to soothe, and sea buckthorn berry oil as an antioxidant. The product can be used alone or blended with Youngblood’s mineral foundations. Stand K107.
3. PONi Cosmetics Brow Love
This new retractable brow pencil from PONi Cosmetics delivers a natural pop of colour and volume to create perfect brows. The playful design features a heart-shaped tip on one end and a spoolie brush at the other to create soft lines and a fluffy finish. Available in five shades. Stand K147.
4. Image Skincare Vital C ACE Serum
This new serum is a concentrated essence for the skin infused with vitamins A, C, E, and a power blend of plant antioxidants including green tea and Echinacea extracts to reduce the appearance of signs of ageing such as fine lines and dryness and Bearberry extract to help the skin to look more radiant. 5. Young Nails Stain Resistant Gel Top Coat
Touted as having “the best consistency in a gel top coat that we’ve ever created” by Young Nails founder, Greg Salo, this new top coat has been designed to keep nail enhancements looking fresh. The top coat is also stain-resistant to all hair colour and spray tanning products. Stand M111.
6. The UNCOMPLICATED Cleanser
A new cream cleanser to complement the brand’s line of serums and mineral cosmetics, Esmi Skin Mineral’s new offering says it all with its name – uncomplicated. The cleanser is also vegan and paraben- and fragrance-free. Stand K147.
7. Green Habit skincare
Aimed at “conscious consumers”, Green Habit is a new lifestyle brand by Aussie skincare company, Skin Juice. Suitable for all skin types, the products tick all the boxes for those seeking a line that is ecologically responsible and naturally-derived. There are two products currently available – a face cleanser and a face cream – with more set to launch. The products are made with a minimum of 70 per cent certified organic ingredients and are packaged in bottles made with recycled plastics that are 100 per cent recyclable. Stand G127.
8. BLUR Beauty – RMT masks
“A revolutionary treatment to reduce wrinkles, treat fine lines, increase firmness, and drench the skin with multiple hyaluronic acid molecules”, BLUR Beauty’s RMT is a filler treatment that uses microneedles to create a pathway, allowing active ingredients (Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Beta Glucan) to be absorbed directly into the skin.
