Encore Beauty has partnered with TAFE NSW –Western Sydney Institute Hair & Beauty AcadeMY in a collaboration that gives up-and-coming makeup artists studying at the institute an opportunity to be introduced to the Serge Louis Alvarez range.
Encore Beauty managing director, Maureen Bartlett, says she is looking forward to working with the professional trainers and management teams at WSI in an arrangement that will bring benefits to both parties. “SLA delivers the pigment that is required for professional makeup application in all areas of the business that includes theatre, film, TV, fashion and bridal.”
The partnership provides students and staff greater opportunities in teaching and learning, said Education Service Industry Skills Faculty director, Anne Goonetilleke, who admits to being a strong advocate for industry collaboration. “TAFE-WSI takes great pride in being at the forefront of vocational training with our innovative programs to meet student industry needs.”
She says the new working relationship with Encore Beauty and SLA Paris allows staff and students to discover more about innovations in makeup artistry.
“The beauty therapy sector is dynamic and fashion conscious and this partnership represents TAFE-WSI’s commitment to remaining progressive and current with industry trends.”
In France, more than 320 beauty colleges teach with the SLA brand.
