From education to inspiration, sourcing to networking, Salon Melbourne is Victoria’s premier hair and beauty destination. In anticipation of its sixth annual installment, Salon Melbourne has announced its hero image for 2015.
The stunning image was created by Hair Expo award-nominated image stylist, Paloma Rose Garcia, of Oscar Oscar Salons. To bring her vision to life, makeup artist, Molly Oakfield, worked to achieve a muted make-up look that perfectly counter-balanced the dramatically styled hair – achieving a finished look that is both commanding yet visually soft.
On selecting this year’s hero shot, Salon Melbourne event director, Amelia Coote-Harris said, “From hair to nails, brows to lashes, we wanted a powerful image that brought together all the worlds of spa, beauty and hair into one. This stunning image was selected not only on its visual appeal, but it also stood out by embodying how the various spheres of the industry work together to create an end look – which is exactly what we wanted for our 2015 Salon Melbourne visual stamp.”
With the dates of Sunday March 1 and Monday March 2, 2015 locked in – and registration set to open in December 2014 – stay tuned for what Salon Melbourne 2015 will have in store.
