The Medical Aesthetic Institute (MAI) is excited to offer 3 rebranded courses targeted at therapists seeking further education.
MAI was created in the USA in 2000 with a curriculum to meet the needs of today’s skincare professionals looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of skin physiology, ingredients, peeling technology and skin consultation.
Through a series of specially designed courses tailored to the Australian medical market, Chiza Westcarr and Joanne Healy, clinical dermal therapists and educators at Advanced Skin Technology, are excited to present these courses to Australia and New Zealand therapists.
“Each course has been specially designed for the Australian medical market and we encourage therapists to extend themselves so they can achieve maximum results for their clients leading to greater client satisfaction and loyalty,” Joanna Healy said.
The new courses include:
1-day Postgraduate Medical Aesthetics Class: an introductory course for therapists and nurses who are entering the sphere of cosmeceuticals and clinical peels.
3-day Master Class: the ultimate skin course for experienced therapist and nurses
1-day Advanced Peels – advanced training for highly skilled therapists proficient in peeling techniques.
“As technology is advancing so is our knowledge. At MAI we continue to deliver the most current and up-to-date information and will be looking to offer a variety of new courses in the future,” said Joanna.
“We are passionate about factual up-to-date technical information that can be passed on and used in so many different areas within the medical skincare arena. All our technical educators are accredited and have been specifically chosen for their hands-on skills and knowledge within the medical skincare field.”
