Winners, finalists and semi-finalists of the 2024 International Beauty Industry Awards (also IBI Awards) have been announced. Multiple Australian makeup artists have been named across most of the 22 Makeup Artistry categories.
Australian entrants claimed a total of 37 awards. The most awards won by Australians occurred in the Best Editorial Makeup category, in which Kylie Eustace took home the top gong. Of all Australian winners, Shiree Collier took home the most awards – a total of eight.
The global IBI Awards have been operating since 2018, and are open to makeup and hair artists at all levels.
In 2023, multi-IBI award-winning makeup artist Jennifer Ellis told Professional Beauty: “I actually considered it a win, as cliche as this sounds, just to enter; to be part of this platform that recognises artists, not based on popularity, social media or a name, but purely based on our own artwork.”
