Following a successful collaboration with ELLERY and Christopher Esber at September’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, jane iredale Australia have today released a ‘behind the scenes’ film offering a rare insight into the ethereal makeup looks the brand helped create for each designer’s show.
The film’s launch coincides with ELLERY and Christopher Esber’s much anticipated and coveted collections hitting stores here in Australia this
month. jane Iredale Australia’s national educator and brand expert Leslie Graham collaborated with the show’s makeup artist, Lottie Stannard,
to create a beautiful and flawless look to complement the designer’s work. jane iredale’s Glow Time BB Cream was at the core of the look,
with the simplicity of a nude, raw colour palette, soft highlights and shadows and clean lines were used.
Lottie explained: “The BB cream has great coverage but leaves the skin with a beautiful glow without looking too "done" or heavy. I also love how finely milled the eyeshadow is, made it very easy to blend seamlessly around the eye and did not drag on the skin.”
Designers Kym Ellery and Christopher Esber were delighted with the results. "I love the pure makeup look Jane Iredale created for the MBNYFW
presentation, the subtleties of the soft contouring really captured this effortless beauty, which is perfect for my brand," said Chris.
"Working with Jane Iredale for my New York presentation was a fantastic experience. For our makeup look I wanted it to be all about the glow of the skin and Lottie did a wonderful job achieving this with the jane iredale product.
“In general, I love working with mineral makeup; it sits so effortlessly on the skin and has such a wonderful luminous finish," said Kym.
Now it’s your turn to bring together fashion and beauty and achieve a runway look straight off the catwalk and onto the sidewalk.
