Bodyography’s Majella Wirth created flawless natural beauties for the Ae’lkemi Spring Summer show.
The Ae’lkemi show was on April 10, the final day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. Finishing fashion week with a stellar collection, the show exuded classic elegance with fiery reds, delicate lace and sophisticated whites.
The inspiration behind the 2014 show was “timeless elegance, taking a classical shape and twisting it into a contemporary form”.
The Bodyography backstage team was led by Sydney makeup artist Majella Wirth, who created a soft brown eye teamed with dewy complexion.
“We went for a natural nude look with very dewy textures – the focus was on the intense big eyebrows and really solid lines. We decided on minimal eye colour, just doing a small amount in the crease of the eye,” said Majella.
“The lips were completely bare and we finished off with soft pink cheeks.”
