Bio Sculpture’s Rock and Crystal collection represents the perfect combination of fashion focused trend colours.
Shot by photographer Jan Masny, the campaign captures the sumptuous luxury of rich minerals and metallics, with model Anna-Christina Schwartz seemingly enveloped in gold. Mercury, amethyst, topaz and onyx take centre stage for their glimmering properties, further reflected in the season’s hottest runway looks.
These striking images were created with thanks to special effects makeup artist Maria Asadi, who worked to make Anna-Christina look as if she was dipped in the molten metallic liquid. Silver and gold makeup and hair colour spray were applied to her skin and hair to complement the dazzling Rock and Crystal colours. The ethereal backgrounds were added in last, perfectly capturing the look of Bio Sculpture gel.
Bio Sculpture creator Elmien Scholtz explains: “The idea for the campaign shoot was inspired by the collection theme, ‘The Rock and Crystal Collection’. The collection evoked thoughts of luxury and opulence which led to the idea of a model emerged in gold.”
