CND, the creators of Shellac Power Polish, are proud to announce the launch of their revolutionary new nail range, Vinylux, set to take the nail industry by storm. Vinylux is a weekly polish system that alleges to offer durable, high-shine and week-long wear.
This innovative system includes a self-adhering colour coat that eliminates the need for base coat, and a top coat that becomes more durable when exposed to natural light to ensure no chipping or scratching for at least one week, say the brand.
Brand founder, Jan Arnold was in Sydney last month to introduce beauty media to the range and explained why she came up with the Vinylux concept: “The average manicure last three days,” she said. “That isn’t good enough. Everyone can have fabulous nails with CND. For those who don’t suit gel and have good, natural nails, Vinylux will give them durable, fashionable and long-lasting colour.”
CND have recently changed their tag line to “Nails. Fashion. Beauty”, which is fitting for a brand that’s done nearly 1000 fashion shows to date and more than 230,000 hand-crafted nails. Vinylux has 62 colours, forty of which are the most popular, fashion-forward Shellac shades. The polish also gives protection and a glamorous shine.
The product does not require a UV lamp to cure and can be removed with acetone. With the elimination of a base coat, the standard three-step nail polish process is replaced with a faster and more effective two-part system.
Vinylux will be available as a salon service and for individual purchase in select salons worldwide starting April 22.
