Napoleon Perdis sponsors Cinderella, The Australian Ballet’s lead production for 2013.
“Every woman deserves her own Cinderella moment,” said Napoleon Perdis. This year marks his 3rd year sponsoring The Australian Ballet and Napoleon pays tribute to this year’s production with a limited edition Cinderella range.
The partnership between Napoleon Perdis and The Australian Ballet will see Napoleon creating Cinderella-esque looks and capturing the romance with flawless skin and exquisite colours, conveying Cinderella’s transformation from servant to centre-of-attention.
“I’ve always loved a good makeover story and I very much believe in the transformative powers of makeup! I’ve seen so many Cinderella moments – so bringing this to life through my partnership with The Australian Ballet was very exciting for me professionally and personally,” said Napoleon.
“As a makeup artist, I believe that true transformation begins with the skin, a fabulous and radiant complexion coupled with a smouldering gaze – hello Prince Charming!”
According to David McAllister, the artistic director of The Australian Ballet, Napoleon’s advice backstage has been invaluable for the performers – not just on stage makeup, but also their everyday look. “The dancers wear Napoleon on-stage and as their everyday makeup, the tips they have learnt from Napoleon’s top makeup artists have been invaluable backstage,” said David.
The Cinderella limited edition collection consists of the new Auto Pilot Radiance-Boosting Primer, new Colour Disk in Cinders, Prismatic Eye Shadow Quad #11 and DeVine Goddess Lipstick in Aphrodite.
“Napoleon has captured perfectly the innocence of pure-of-heart Cinderella and her transformation from downtrodden house-bound servant to belle of ball! The dewy radiant skin, defined eyes and stand-out red lip is a look that resonates on stage for ballerinas but is also gorgeous for an evening statement,” David said.
