Natural beauties count down to Expo

The latest “natural, organic and healthy products” will be on display at the fourth annual Naturally Good Expo in Sydney this month.

The expo will feature over 350 exhibitors including 55 beauty and personal care suppliers.

Event manager Sarah Weatherby says there has been “a huge shift towards natural and organic products”, particularly in the beauty space, since the expo’s launch in 2015.

“We’ve seen a huge shift towards natural and organic products – with many consumers demanding transparency when it comes to the types of products that they put both in and on their bodies,” she says.

“Across the show floor there will be a range of different skincare trends. These will include everything from Manuka honey skincare and essentials oils, to skincare derived from macadamia nuts and those natural fragrances that have been derived from real plants and spices.

“There will also recovery balms and body lotions on hand that assist with pain and skin conditions.”

Beauty and personal care companies exhibiting at the expo include Ahria Organics, Bio Care Australia,  BioSota Organics, Clemence Organics, Clover Fields,  Coconut Tree Products, Derma Health, Dusty Girls, Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics, Heaven in Earth,  Hempz, International Beauty Supplies, Kopo Skin Care, Luk Beautifood, My Magic Mud,  Myoni, The Physic Garden, Vida Glow, Weleda and Wotnot Naturals.

Sarah says that although the expo isn’t specifically targeted at the beauty industry, it nonetheless gives salon owners the opportunity to “meet the industry’s best entrepreneurs and experience the new and latest-trending natural, organic and cruelty-free, beauty, body and skincare products”.

It is a fabulous opportunity for salon owners to identify new and innovative products that are currently on trend, in demand and ahead of the curve – with some of the products being first to launch at this year’s event.

“In addition, salon owners will be given an exclusive opportunity to learn and liaise with industry leaders about not only what’s current and on trend, but what they can expect to see next for this illustrious industry.”

The Naturally Good Expo, which also includes an extensive seminar program, will be held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on Sunday April 29 and Monday April 30.

The Naturally Good Summit, “an action-packed day of focused and actionable sessions on product, channel, sales, marketing, finance, export and industry insights”, will be held on Friday April 27
