Welcome to the new way for travellers to book an appointment while on holiday. This summer, Vaniday, a new beauty and wellness booking app hits Australia.
These days, all travellers need is a smart phone to make them feel like a local. And now, beauty and wellness app, Vaniday, is making it easy for travellers to Australia to feel right at home when they’re booking a beauty appointment.
Vaniday works by picking up users’ location through GPS. They can then enter the service they need and book it in seconds. Only salons close to where users are searching will be uploaded and consumers are then able to view those individual salons’ treatments and pricing and of course, make the appointment. The options can be filtered by distance, price and relevance and once consumers have had their appointment, they’re encouraged to leave feedback, which, in turn, helps future clients make a selection.
“We wanted to create an experience that allows customers to book services based on their individual needs and have treatments booked in a matter of clicks,” says global founder and CEO, Maxime Legardez. “We also nurture our salons and make small and large business’ more accessible and therefore profitable. All our salons in Australia are hand-picked for their excellent treatments coupled with great customer service. In turn the salons can showcase their work, connect with new and existing clients and grow their business.”
A new and fast-moving player, Vaniday launched in March this year into the Brazil market before quickly expanding into the UK, Italy, France, UAE. The company is set to roll out to a further 11 cities around the world within the next six months. Australia is next and they have already signed 500 hair and beauty salons in the Australian market. With beauty salons such as Fleur De Lys Medispa in Mosman, Sydney and Alkaline in Potts Point, Sydney already signed up, this new booking platform is set to host the best salons in every area acorss the country.
With an edited and elite line-up of service providers, GPS tracking and easy-as booking abilities, this app plans to “dominate the online bookings platform”. At Professional Beauty we think there is a distinct possibility that Vaniday will not just become the modern traveller’s must pack, but an essential app for anyone who wants to book a wax, or manicure (or facial, or massage, or… well you get the picture.)
