Melanie Crosby, Noosa Springs spa therapist has been honoured with the 2013 Student of the Year title at the annual BABTAC & CIBTAC awards in London.
Each year, hundreds of students enter from around the world for the internationally recognised British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology and Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology Awards.
Melanie was a former student at The International School of Beauty Therapy in Nantwich, UK. She won the 2013 Student of the Year award for her commitment, ambition and outstanding level of skill shown during her time at the school.
“We continue to see exceptional exam results [from our school] and we’re really proud that our graduate Melanie Crosby has won Student of the Year – she thoroughly deserves it,” said Louise Leach, founder of The International School of Beauty Therapy in Nantwich.
Melanie said this of her win: “I am very proud of my achievements and it was an honour to receive this prestigious award”.
After graduating, Melanie moved to Australia and began working as a therapist at the resort in Noosa Springs.
“I am fulfilling my dreams and feel privileged to be working with a great team in a beautiful environment like Noosa Springs. I love meeting new guests, welcoming back regular clientele and helping people to unwind, relax and rejuvenate,” Melanie said.
