Directed by MAC artist James Molloy, the COOP by Trelise Cooper girl this year was an ‘eclectic girl’ in warm, earth-toned makeup.
The COOP by Trelise Cooper collection at New Zealand Fashion Week this year revealed a young girl in pop-brights and a galaxy of metallics. Shimmer and a contrast of textures strutted down the catwalk in a parade that flaunted the spectacular powers of pubescent experimentalism.
A little bit of goth, a dabble with modern geometry, overlapping sheers and a whole lot of fun.
Extending the contrasting nature of the collection on to the face, MAC’s James Molloy created a look that added depth to the eyes with amber tones and a plastic-sheen as highlight, shaping the face.
Juxtaposing warm earthy on the eyes against a cool tone ultra-violet highlight, the look was multi-dimensional – a futuristic goddess in the making.
Key products used included the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, a mixture of the Luna Cream Colour Base with Frozen White Pigment for the highlight and Black Black Chromagraphic Pencil to deepen the eyes.
